Céréales Vallée

The competitiveness cluster has brought together a unique combination of skills with regard to innovation in cereals to develop collaborative projects.

Céréales Vallée is a competitiveness cluster dedicated to innovation in cereals. In a context of strong growth in world cereal needs, the cluster is at the core of major challenges and strategic food, non-food and environmental issues.

Therefore, Céréales Vallée develops a threefold ambition :

• International : responding to the wide variety of needs (food and green chemistry) of 9 billion people worldwide by 2050, while preserving the environment.

• National : Improving production efficiency and ensuring the competitiveness of our agriculture and cereals chains.

• Regional : Contributing to the reputation of Auvergne, its economic growth and employment.

The competitiveness cluster implements its strategy on four orientations in order to strengthen the sustainability of the cereal chains :

• Sustainable Cereal Production

• Cereals for Human Nutrition and Food

• Cereals for Animal Feed

• Cereals for Agro-materials

Since its creation in 2005, Céréales Vallée can lean on  the dynamism and the commitment of its members, but also on  a unique combination of skills with regard to innovation in cereals. The cluster   unites almost 500  actors in cereal chains, which are involved  in research, industry, services and training.

Céréales Vallée aims to promote collaborations between public and private actors. Céréales Vallée facilitate the setting-up and the coordination of innovative R&D, industrial, training and international projects, in a highly competitive and worldwide business context
